Room / Walk-in Humidors
This is the largest type, it’s basically a room that has been converted into a humidor, usually the size of a walk-in closet. You would only need this type if you owned a shop, distributed cigars or had a huge collection of cigars.
Cabinet Humidors
This is the second largest type of humidor, usually holding 1,000-3,000 cigars. They are humidors that have been turned into a piece of furniture. They usually are fairly large and sturdy. A beginner probably won’t need such a large humidor.
Table Humidors
These typically are a little more lightweight than a cabinet humidor, but still fairly heavy and harder to move.
Desktop Humidors
This type of humidor is targeted towards intermediate cigar smokers. It holds more cigars than a personal humidor, but still is lightweight and movable. As the name suggests, they fit nicely on your desktop.
Personal Humidors
This type of humidor is targeted towards beginners to intermediate cigar smokers. This is the first type of humidor you will typically buy as it holds less cigars and is lightweight and movable. They usually hold about a few dozen cigars.
Portable/Travel Humidors
These are a little smaller than personal humidors and usually hold about a dozen cigars. They make great travel humidors as they are smaller and more light weight.
