I got this humidor about a year ago (give or take a month or two). This Cedar Smell is wonderful. It is well built and holds the humidity very well compared to my smaller humidor that requires constant cigar fluid to maintain the humidity. This humidor is big for a table top unit so you will need some space. I am very happy with it. If I had it to do over again, I would dump the small humidor with the glass top and go straight to this one.
I purchased mine about a month ago and love it. It was easy to get up and running. About 10 days and the humidity was at 70, it would have been faster if I would have thrown the cheap humidifiers away from the beginning. I installed a Humicare 8oz pie jar and have one piece in all four corners and it maintains a constant humidity. I have around 150 cigars in it and could hold more. I also had to calibrate the hydrometer but that is something that should be done first with every new one.
Bought this for more space than previous humidor. Dimensions are accurate. Veneer is very dark with little grain contrast, but well polished. Lock is functional but key mechanism is a little sloppy. There are a few places where veneer over sanded. Interior has bright cedar color and aroma. After seasoning, holds humidity exceedingly well. Included hydrometer easily adjusted with small screw drive. I kept the humidifiers, but dumped out green foam and replaced with crystals and the magnets hold them well. Does not hold as many cigars as stated, but I have mostly 6+" and all with ring gauges of 52+; and there are 80 with room to spare. Very good looking humidor with tight seal and roomy interior. Excellent value for the price point in this size.
